What does the procedure involve?
Comprehensive hygiene is a four-step preventive treatment performed by an experienced dental hygienist or dentist using advanced equipment:
- Ultrasonic Scaling – removes hardened tartar (calculus) that brushing and flossing can’t reach. Tartar buildup can cause gum inflammation and periodontitis.
- Air Flow Cleaning – uses a gentle jet of water, air, and powder to remove stains and soft deposits caused by coffee, tea, smoking, etc.
- Polishing – smooths the enamel surface, making it harder for new plaque to stick.
- Fluoride Treatment – strengthens enamel, reduces sensitivity, and helps prevent cavities.
Each session includes a free oral check-up to assess your dental condition and provide personalized recommendations.
Who should have this treatment?
- All adults — at least once or twice a year, even without visible issues
- People prone to plaque, tartar, and gum inflammation
- Patients undergoing orthodontic treatment (e.g., braces or aligners)
- Pregnant women — to prevent pregnancy-related gum problems
- Smokers and regular coffee/tea drinkers
- Patients preparing for whitening, prosthetics, or implants

Aftercare Recommendations:

- You may experience mild tooth sensitivity, which should subside naturally
- Regular hygiene visits every 6 months are strongly recommended
